Best Time to Cross the Border App Reviews

As the app description states, this app is for entry into America only. If you need accuracy getting into the US of A, youll not find a better app. Hopefully they can do the same for exit points too.

I saved hours with this app. Enough said.

Now waiting over 1 hour at the Buffalo/Niagra border. App says 2 minute wait. App is completely up to date. First time using it. While I am sitting here, I will be deleting it. There are better apps....trust me....I have had a lot of time to do the research. Cant wait to see my roaming fees!

App wont launch on iPhone 5s

Easy to use app. Good design. Will be even better w more user reports.

Sometimes actual waiting time longer than showed.

Every time I try to open the app it switches back to the phone settings. If I even try to open it again does the same thing on a loop. This would be a very good app if it worked.

I deleted this app It used to be very good. Changes to allow constant access to my location wont happen. Further requirement to "obey local laws" is just wrong. The best of drivers make mistakes. This is now to invasive.

Im giving high marks because I emailed them to complain about trying to send an accurate update yet the app wouldnt allow me to do so. The programmers replied immediately and fixed the problem on the spot. All apps have glitches and need occasional improvements. So if youre having trouble I encourage you to report it so it can be addressed. Keep up the good work border wait app people :-)

I cross the border fairly often, and use this app all the time for that. With the exception that sometimes the wait times arent refreshed within the hour, every time they are, they are very accurate.

I am ambivalent about this app. The information that it provides is very valuable for those of us that cross the border often. I sometimes will cross up to three times a day sometimes four. But it has lots of bugs. I have not reported the bugs but I will try and will watch closely their response. Even with bugs I use it everyday, but it could be improved significantly.

Downloaded what seemed like a useful app. It wont work without constantly tracking your location. Aka spyware

This app was great until it started... No demanded your location. Most of us have 1 port of entry nearby and will not drive to an other city to cross.

Very useful as it not only displays official wait times. It works better if you send your iReport whenever you cross.

This has the potential to be a great app and a great tool. It needs some bug fixes; heres what I see after 5 minutes of use: #1 the app will only allow you to add a favorite border to cross if you are near that crossing. This is a problem if you are planning a trip and want to set your upcoming border crossing to favorites. #2 the map is not iterative so you can only see the graph/chart you can get a real sense for the best times to cross (it works much better on a computer) #3 you cant select passenger, pedestrian or commercial for your border wait time preference. (Note:I recommend the developer check out the interactive graph provided on most stock tracker apps to correct this issue) #4 The app is missing some of the key graph information that the website provides. Again, the app provides great information that is truly valuable for travel. If the bugs get fixed and a few more features added this will be a 5 star app.

Not a bad tool for pre planning your crossing. Can be off depending on the location. But it does have some very useful tools.

App requires full use of your location at all times to function. Deny permission and app is blocked. Only does this after latest update. Uses too much battery with location on. I have to constantly turn on and turn off permission just for this stupid app. Im getting sick of it! Its easier just to check wait times online. User reports on this app are becoming less and less accurate anyway.

Just downloaded the latest update to my iPhone 5 & it immediately crashes every time I try to open it. I have been happy with the app until now. But it is useless right now.
